Who we are...

The Biology Graduate Student Association (BGSA) is a recognized Purdue University Student Organization within the Department of Biological Sciences. All current graduate students associated with the Department of Biological Sciences are de facto members of the BGSA, meaning that all students in the Biological Sciences program and related interdisciplinary programs are a part of and benefit from BGSA activities!

The BGSA serves as an organization to promote and organize professional development, team-building, and social activities for the benefit of the biological sciences graduate student body. The BGSA Executive Board is an elected group of volunteers that acts as liaison between the biological sciences faculty and members of the BGSA. The Executive Board also plans many of the social and professional events. If you are interested in becoming more involved in BGSA or joining the Executive Board, please contact us!
